“A new generation of conscious consumers are demanding products which satisfy their ethical values. This changing consumer mindset is, I believe, the only genuine solution to our environmental and social crisis. It's exciting that a new breed of fantastic consumer brands are rising to the ethical challenge, without sacrificing quality, and without sacrificing the commercial success required to scale their positive impact. The Future Business Partnership provides them with a truly compatible investor who understands, respects, and enhances their mission.”

VISH SRIVASTAVA

Partner and Head of Investments

Vish has built an investment career living and breathing consumer brands. Prior to The Future Business Partnership, he was a Partner at BlueGem Capital Partners LLP, Europe’s leading consumer specialist mid-market private equity fund. He has invested over €150m of capital, achieving a doubling of that value over his career.

Through his directorships of brands such as Liberty London, Mamas & Papas and Jack Wills, he has seen the consumer sector start to undergo a transition towards a greater focus on ethics.

With a personal passion for his communities, the environment and workplace ethics, as well as a recognition of the scale of the commercial opportunity, Vish is now looking to address an attractive, socially imperative, yet underserved sector.

“Genuine commitment to sound ethics and sustainability is no longer optional for brands in our world and I’m excited to see the beginnings of a more united beauty industry as it works to create more thoughtful packaging, refined formulations and importantly on reducing the impact of its plastic pollution. Fresh creative approaches and fantastic innovation within this sector means it is now entirely possible to maintain your principles without sacrificing either luxury or performance. An exciting time.”
